Mike Kotch, Business Manager

Connect with Mike:

Mike brings business and accounting skills as well as coaching skills to his role as Business Manager at Borchers. All are very needed to grow our business in a healthy way that keeps the focus on our clients. We are thrilled to have Mike help direct the firm’s strategy and operations, while making sure our team is equipped to meet all of our initiatives.

Mike joins our team with 5 years of experience in public accounting, 2 years as a Health Benefit Advisor, and 20 years of college coaching experience. He served as a swim coach at his alma mater, Bentley University, where he earned an accounting degree as an undergrad and an MBA shortly thereafter. With his business acumen and ability to motivate others to achieve success, we are excited to follow his lead.

As a New England native, Mike and his wife Katie and their 2 daughters, Taylor and April, have happily stayed local settling in Ashland. They are avid Patriots fans and have been season ticket holders since 2011.

Mike has always enjoyed sports – whether it is by supporting his girls’ teams, getting exercise with their golden retriever Penny, or through his continued involvement in the active swimming community. He is the current coach of Ashland High Swim Team and a volunteer swim coach at Bentley. He is a certified Red Cross Lifeguard & CPR Instructor and has his MA Life & Health Producers License. If you get in rough waters, literally or figuratively, Mike is the guy you want at your side!
