Responsibilities:
- Draft, read, and interpret legal documents, including trustee appointments and resignations and trust amendments
- Prepare a variety of estate and trust income tax returns
- Input information for fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), gift tax returns (Form 709) and estate tax returns (Form 706)
- Communicate with trust and estate beneficiaries regarding distributions
- Produce summaries and accountings for trust beneficiaries
- Attend trust beneficiary meetings

- Assist in retitling assets, identifying provisions, and executing principal payments
- General bookkeeping duties as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of trust and estate administration/tax experience in a law firm, trust department or accounting firm
- In-depth understanding and appreciation of the trust and estate administration process from start to finish
- Proficiency with cloud-based applications such as Office, QuickBooks, and CRM software
- Highly organized, adaptable, focused, and able to handle multiple tasks and cases simultaneously
- Able to work independently, under pressure, with minimal supervision
- Excellent references and credit check required
- DISC Profile preferred
- Notary license a plus
