Emma Zimmerman, Paralegal

Emma Zimmerman is a paralegal who joined our team with 13 years of customer service experience ranging from real estate, retail to insurance work. She also brought 8 years of administrative support from industries including an energy company, software company, land surveying, banking, and law.

As a paralegal for the Estate Administration team, Emma facilitates estate and trust administrations, tax planning, and asset management. In this role, she assists the attorneys in all aspects of preparation and execution of estate administration documents.

Some of her daily tasks include obtaining values of estate assets and debts, preparing inventories for estates, drafting and filing probate documents with the Massachusetts Probate Courts, managing probate dockets, and preparing documents related to estate and trust administration. Emma answers funding questions from clients and beneficiaries, and she performs case research.

Emma earned her paralegal certification from Boston University, a local choice for this life-long resident of Massachusetts who now lives in Milford. She comes from a small family that has spread out, but she loves spending time with her mom who is still local. Many of Emma’s favorite activities are ones they can enjoy together: cooking, puzzling, and playing card games like Poker, Spite, and Malice.

Living in the Metrowest gives Emma the opportunity to do other favorite activities like hiking in Ashland State Park, camping, swimming, and going to the beach. But don’t think she only enjoys the outdoors, she’s always up for a good video game, like the Legend of Zelda, or watching a gripping thriller. The ruler of her house is her cat Louie who is accustomed to getting the royal treatment.

In her free time, Emma enjoys volunteering at events at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Southborough, MA, by doing things like making sandwiches for the church fair or shopping for school supplies for underprivileged children. Emma is a friendly, thoughtful, and talented member of our team.
